What we collect through this website, why, who we share it with and the rights you have under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
ToolBlazer Limited ("ToolBlazer", "we") is a New Zealand company with its registered office at 502/145 Nelson Street, Auckland Central, Auckland 1010, New Zealand. We are the agency responsible for personal information collected through this website under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
This policy covers toolblazer.com and enquiries you send us. Each ToolBlazer product publishes its own privacy policy describing the data processed through that product, including data collected from Salesforce environments you connect. WBC Licenças is covered by the policy at wbclicencas.app/privacy.
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you email or call us, we receive your name, contact details and whatever you include in your message.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs for security and reliability: IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. These logs are kept for a short period and are not combined with your identity.
- Cookies. This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in future, we will update this policy first.
3. How we use information
- to respond to your enquiry and provide support;
- to operate, secure and improve this website;
- to meet legal and accounting obligations;
- to send you information you have asked for. We do not send marketing email without your consent, and you can opt out at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed:
- Vercel hosts this website and keeps the server logs described above.
- Google Workspace provides our email.
- Stripe processes payments when you subscribe to a ToolBlazer product. Stripe receives the information needed to take payment and is itself a regulated payment processor.
- Authorities or advisers where the law requires it or to protect our rights.
5. International transfers
Our providers may store information outside New Zealand, including in Australia and the United States. We only use providers that are subject to comparable privacy safeguards or that are contractually bound to protect your information, as required by Information Privacy Principle 12 of the Privacy Act 2020.
6. Retention
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with it and for a reasonable period afterwards for records. Server logs are kept for no more than 90 days. Accounting records are kept for seven years as required by New Zealand law.
7. Security
This website is served over HTTPS. Access to our systems is limited to people who need it and protected with multi-factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
8. Your rights
You have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct it. Email dan@toolblazer.com and we will respond within 20 working days. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
9. Children
Our website and products are intended for business use and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
